Our Services

Threadsmith Group fixes the operational infrastructure underneath growing startups. We skip the advisory theater and go straight to what's actually broken: decision bottlenecks, misaligned teams, and execution gaps that cost you money and keep you up at night. We embed, we build, and we leave you with systems that run without us.

A different approach

Diagnostic, not prescriptive

We’re proudly no-nonsense, no fluff. If you’re looking for corporate buzzwords, we’re not the company for you. We don't walk in with a playbook we wrote for somebody else's organization. Every engagement starts with figuring out what's actually happening versus what everyone thinks is happening. The fix comes from the diagnosis, not from a framework we're trying to sell you.

Builder > Advisor

You're not paying for a PDF, a couple of 1:1s, and a debrief. I embed with your team, attend the meetings, pull the data, and build the systems alongside the people who'll run them after I leave. The work product is a functioning operating infrastructure, not a recommendation deck.

Honest and Straightforward

If the problem is a people problem, I'll say so. If the founder is the bottleneck, I'll say that too (you probably already know that though, that’s why you’re here). You're hiring me to tell you what's broken, not to validate what you already believe. That directness is how things actually get fixed in 3-6 months instead of 18.

    Fractional Operational Leadership

Your startup is on fire. Not the good kind.

You've got product-market fit, paying customers, and a team that's working hard. But every decision still routes through you. Your roadmap is a vibes-based wishlist. Nobody knows who owns what. You are the bottleneck, the project manager, and the tiebreaker, and you're exhausted.

Threadsmith embeds with founder-led B2B SaaS companies for 3 to 6 months to build the operating infrastructure that lets you stop being the glue. Decision frameworks, execution rhythms, cross-functional alignment. The stuff that turns "everyone waits for the founder to weigh in" into a company that actually runs.

And then we leave, because the whole point is that you don't need us anymore.

If your company's operational infrastructure is basically a shared Google Doc and your own memory, we should talk.

    Workshops/Retreats/Speaking

Burnout is everywhere, and most people are tired of hearing the same shallow fixes. “Take a walk outside” is not revolutionary advice.

Our workshops, retreats, and talks cut through the noise and go straight to the heart of what is burning people out and how to change it. We offer real conversations and practical frameworks that help teams and leaders face what is not working and build resilience that lasts. Whether it is a keynote that sparks clarity, a workshop that gives your team tools they can actually use, or a retreat that carves out space to reset, our work leaves people with language, insight, and momentum they can carry forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It means you get senior operational leadership without hiring a full-time executive. I embed with your company part-time for a defined engagement (typically 3 to 6 months), do the work, build the systems, and hand them off. You get the expertise without the overhead.

  • If every decision still runs through the founder. If your team is working hard but nothing ships predictably. If you've tried to "just hire a project manager" and it didn't fix anything. If your operating cadence is basically Slack messages and hope. Any of those sound familiar, it's probably time.

  • Founder-led B2B SaaS companies, typically between $1M and $5M ARR, past product-market fit but struggling to scale operations. The product works. The company around it doesn't. Yet. :)

  • Consultants observe and recommend. I embed and build. I'm in your standups, your planning sessions, your cross-functional syncs. I'm not writing a report about what you should do. I'm doing it alongside your team until it's done.

  • You keep everything. I install the systems, the frameworks, the cadences, the documentation, and it’s all yours. The whole point of a Threadsmith engagement is that the infrastructure outlasts my involvement. I build it so your team can run it, not so you need me forever. If you do want continued engagement on an advisory basis, I’m happy to discuss.
